Familes now have both father and mother working. The mother used to be a house mom to take care of the kids and the house while the father was out making the money. Now fathers can be the stay at home father who takes care of the children and house while the mother goes out and makes the money. More and more women are finding jobs away from home. Women are being able to be in higher command even over some men. Starting to get to equality but at the same time we will probably never reach it.

19.Should imports of foreign cars or other foreign products be limited or restricted by law?
No, they should not be limited or restricted by law. We have tons of kid toys that are not made in the united states. They are usually from china. Even some of the clothes people where now are not even from the united states. Cars are another thing we import from other countries. Also some countries have resources the united states don't have much or any of. If we do end up limiting or restrict imports would be a dumb decision. The U.S would most likely end up suffering in the end.
18.Should public servants (like school teachers, hospital workers, trash collectors) have the right to strike?
I belive they should be able to strike. I don't see why they could not strick. All kinds of people do it all over the world. Students even do it at college schools. It is there job and if the company they are working for is being unfair, uneqal, or discrimination they have a right to fight back.

Should adoption records be open rather than sealed?
![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZNAG7JkSE5gYv29sWQuOpNtbygi7U_cZgh-e2PkOQBkdlkv18ncdSGT6b-gG3kMH4GRXt-wmVdmfuVVT-ZvGeeNehzf2SJ1gL4CADrFpw66J1nWPsd5k8OKSW_6fdMxIfSwLH1u9aBJ_e/s200/adoption.jpg)
If it was from the parent side it would be different. I would like to know about the kids records of being a trouble maker or not. Kids would just act nice to get adopted then once adopted turn mean.
This one depends on what side you look at the adoption. The kid side against the parent side of adoption. I think this is what the question is asking.

Should sex and violence on television or in the movies be restricted?
No they should not be restricted. That is why television and movies have these awesome but yet pain in the butt things call ratings. This makes it so younger kinds can't go see a horrible, sexual, or scary movie without parent or guardian there with them at that time. I remember when my friends and I tried to go see awesome movies but it was rated R so we couldn't get in. Then you have the kids that get tickets for a different movie and go movie hopping. If they restrict sex and violence they should take of movie ratings as well. Seems like it will be a pain for everyone in the end.

Should children be required to attend school past the age of sixteen?
My opinion is yes they should. The child's brain is still growing and can take in valuable information. Seems like a dumb idea to not attend school. Knowledge is power. Having knowledge will help you later on in life.
It could end up helping you get a better job in life. Even in a game show like who wants to be a million air or jepordy. Yeah kids may think school is boring and dumb but it will help them later on in life.

Should English be declared the official language of the United States?
I think that it should be delared the officical language. There are around 50 countries around the world who has english as an official language. The United States is not one of them. Even in 1780 John Adams was pushing to make english the official language of the United States. Americans been here since Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492. People who make an attempt to have english the official language of the U.S. have had no successs. Even though the United States is considered a "melting pot" I still think that it should have and official language and it should be english.

Should tobacco companies be held responsible for smoking-related illnesses and deaths?
I would say no to this question. Everyone has a choice to smoke or use the tobacco companies product. The tobacco companies also have warning lables on the packages of their products to tell the consumer what harms it causes to the human body. Having the warning lables on the products protects the tobacco companies. On the other hand you would also have to think about the alcohol I think alcohol causes illnesses and death and I haven't heard anything about holding alcohol companies responsible for illness or death.

"The Man with the Golden Voice"
I am glad for Ted. The first time I seen this guy was when a friend was on youtube and told me to watch this video. I thought it was awesome how good he was. That video of him blew him up. Ted has gotten really popular and I have heard that he anonces the a football team in the NFL. I don't recall what team though. I hope Ted's life turn's around for him and he has a good life. Very cool that the news like NBC and stations allowed him to be reunited with his mom after ten years.

Goals and Achievements since 2005
First achievement I had earned is getting my licence and getting a car. Having a licence and car is very nice to have and easy to get around. Another one is I have saved up enough to by myself a new t.v. It took me a year to save up for the tv. In the end I am glad i purchesed my t.v. Also I have gotten promoted at my job to shift manager which is awesome! I also have been spending more time with my family. Before I was never home at all only to sleep or eat. Now I come home all the time see how they are doing and catch up on things.
